Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Trades
1.
VAN
  1. Barron, Justin
  2. Newhook, Alex
  3. 2023 1st round pick (COL)
Additional Details:
Canucks get young center and rhd which addresses their needs
COL
  1. Miller, J.T.
Additional Details:
Colorado gets an absolute beast who's cost controlled and plays in all situations. Could be a Kadri replacement too
2.
VAN
  1. Addison, Calen
  2. Rask, Victor
  3. 2022 1st round pick (MIN)
Additional Details:
Rask is a cap dump to make money work. Late first and Addison seems fair. I personally think this makes Minnesota a cup contender. Plus horvat is young enough to be on their team long term
MIN
  1. Horvat, Bo
Additional Details:
Minnesota gets a center to play with kaprizov who can play in any situation

if ur rebuilding, why wouldn't you retain 50% on myers and trade him to a contender get a 1st rounder for him

Sakic literally said they have to make a big move because they need to take the next step with this roster. Probably cuz Kadri will be too expensive to re-sign. Miller addresses your teams needs and he's q top line Center that plays in all situations and is over ppg. A late first, newhook ( mid first) and barron ( 2nd) is completely fair.

Could def do that, I was thinking more of a cap dump. But doing that would get more value out of him

Avs decline. They won’t trade Newhook. Myers has some value so you don’t have to trade him as a cap dump (likely only a 5th or so)

If you did those other trades(assuming the other teams would do them since this is all hypothetical) why pay to dump Myers when you have plenty of cap space, just wasting assets for nothing.

Also I think Vancouver rebuilding is a bad idea, they need to add talent, not waste years of Demko, Hughes, Petey and others hoping that a bunch of collected draft picks amount to anything.

Sakic did not say that at all.
He said he would be open to moving his 1st round pick at the deadline

And sakic also says he is never intesrted in trading top young talent for rentals, which that is what miller is bc you only have him for 1 year

This is the easiest and fastest decline for an overpayment of a player

Minnesota says no. We aren't trading for a player who flat out hasn't been good and is a free agent next year who Minnesota wouldn't be able to keep. Addison isn't available, and isn't getting traded.

Flyers don't need a goalie, they will be looking to deal Jones and have Sandstrom and Fedotov as potential back up options next year.

There’s a way to make a move without including Newhook. They aren’t doing this, and I don’t think Miller is worth that much.

sakic also didnt say any of that stuff, he is straight up making stuff up to justify his homer trade

Like the Colorado trade but I don't think Newhook will be available. I like Barron and a first snd maybe pluck Olausson instead.

Minnesota deal is not enough for Horvat. Has to be more IMO. Need Lambos, Johnasson, Beckman and 1st type of deal.

Bro literally pay attention to your team, it seems like I pay more attention to them than you. They did an interview with Sakic, check it out.

Giroux wants to go to the avs but I think it would be smarter to go with a cost controlled Miller who can play in every situation and is just flat out better.

bro I am fully in tuned with my teams, Sakic never once said the words that you claim he did, you are trying to make a bigger statement out of nothing. During his midseason presser he never said "have to make a big move because they need to take the next step with this roster"

The Wild value Addison more than those other guys because he is one of their few RHD prospects
