Unlikely the Jets do that. About the only reason DeMelo would be traded would be to gain cap space, so the Jets would not want to take back bad cap space.

Tuch is the only person on planet earth that WANTS to be a sabre, so they say no before you offer anything less than AM34

Not quite that much. But it likely starts at Liljegren, Amirov, and a 1st. It’s probably a similar price to what Eichel got tbh

Buffalo isn’t trading Tuch. He wants to be there.

The Winnipeg trade is interesting though. Another small add and Winnipeg might do it.

Jets get cap space. What is this obsession with Holl being bad? Good value at 2m in my opinion.

Sabres aren’t trading Tuch

He’s a piece we HAD to have in the Eichel trade
And he’s expected to be named our Captain this offseason
Not to mention, the pieces you’re offering aren’t of much interest

ZERO CHANCE

The Jets get less than half of the cap space they could have had because they need to waste $2 mil of that on an unneeded low end bottom pairing defenseman.

But he isn't that. Maybe a low end top 4 defender. Even that is debatable.

I agree it is debatable that Holl is a low end top 4 defender, he's more suited to the bottom pair.

The point is though, that Holl does nothing for Winnipeg and it is a low ball offer for a player that the Jets don't need to move, so there is no incentive for Winnipeg to do that as they could easily get the same return in the off season if they decide to move DeMelo and most likely not get stuck with bad cap coming back.

Sure the jets don't need to move him. Certainly no bad cap coming backlit in this trade either. I would think this trade is only done if the jets are sellers at the deadline.

😂😂😂
If Holl was a “top4 defender” then every Leafs fan on here wouldn’t be trying to dump him

Exactly. Holl is closer to a replacement level player than he is to a top 4 defenseman.

Yeah, he’s an NHLer…. just not a good one
Bottom pair guy, who a good playoff team tried to replace with a better player near the deadline
Which seems to be exactly what the Leafs fans (and reportedly the Leafs themselves) are looking to do

He's not likely to be moved until the off season and then only if the Jets need cap space.
