Trades
1.
VAN
  1. Bahl, Kevin
  2. Zacha, Pavel [RFA Rights]
  3. 2022 3rd round pick (NJD)
  4. 2022 5th round pick (CBJ)
  5. 2023 2nd round pick (NJD)
Additional Details:
Offseason trade. Canucks want to re-sign Miller so one (or both) of Boeser and Garland have to be moved. Devils like Garland, Vancouver likes Zacha and Bahl. Vancouver dumps 2.5m in cap in Poolman, who is a serviceable enough 3D for the Devils.
2.
NJD
  1. 2022 2nd round pick (BOS)
  2. 2022 7th round pick (BOS)
Additional Details:
2022 TDL trade. Realistically Boston probably shouldn't do this but hey, weirder/worse trades have happened and Boston has been linked to Subban in the past. Name value goes a long way.
BOS
  1. 2023 7th round pick (NJD)
Additional Details:
P.K. Subban (4,500,000 retained)
3.
NJD
  1. Pärssinen, Juuso
Additional Details:
2022 TDL trade. Parssinen is a halfway decent prospect. Vesey fits Nashville's system pretty well.
NSH
    Jimmy Vesey
    4.
    NJD
    1. Farinacci, John [Reserve List]
    2. 2022 3rd round pick (ARI)
    ARI
    1. Johnsson, Andreas
    Additional Details:
Offseason trade. Helps Arizona reach the cap floor and acquire a useful player, in exchange for a decent prospect and decent pick. in return.
    5.
    NJD
    1. Liljegren, Timothy [RFA Rights]
    2. Robertson, Nicholas
    3. 2022 1st round pick (TOR)
    Additional Details:
2022 TDL trade. Thinking about how Leafs fans will probably go apeshit about this one gave me a good chuckle. Regardless, Severson is a legit top-pair defenseman by a multitude of metrics (and yes, even the eye-test!), and should be traded for as such. Toronto should be fully prepared to go all in if they don't want to waste Matthews' tenure there.
    TOR
    1. Severson, Damon ($2,083,333 retained)
    6.
    NJD
    1. 2022 5th round pick (EDM)
    2. 2023 7th round pick (EDM)

NSH declines. Pärssinen seems to have more upside than just a "halfway decent prospect", and while Vesey is probably at the point where he's just happy to have an NHL job regardless of where it is, I don't see NSH wanting him back.

    Canucks decline.
Don't think Boston can fit PK in.
Yotes trade is probably fine, but would prefer to get Maccelli or Jenik back for Johnsson.
Leafs trade is definitely fair value for Severson retained two years, but neither Dubas nor Fitzgerald are looking to move the pieces they are parting with here, not gonna happen IRL.
    Vesey trade is fine.
Would rather try and trade Tatar to Oilers over Kuokkanen, he fits the Devils timeline better and has some room to grow still.

Kinda decent AGM overall, have seen worse.

Canucks are not moving hoglander and garland for that..even if it gets poolman out.. they could easily flip poolman to another team for like a 6th or 7th.

Leafs say no because Liljegren has already been a great right side defenceman for this year and going forward. I would obviously rather play Severson over Liljegren rn, but by next year Liljegren likely overtakes him while also coming at a cheaper price and being way better for the long run (and of course not giving up Robertson and a 1st)

Yeah, once I finalized it, I realized it was probably a bit much. I'd say remove Hoglander on the Nucks side and the 3rd from the Devils side and it's probably fair.

Yep, see my other comment about the Nucks trade.

I think Fitz has more or less been confirmed to be putting Severson on PP1 to showcase him to other teams. Leafs should 100% be looking to win now.

I really like Tatar, even if his production is way down this year. Kuok isn't really good at like, anything outside of the penalty kill.

VAN - that would be solid trade for NJD. Zacha + 2nd + 5th for Garland, Bahl + 3rd for Poolman + Hoglander. The latter half seems a little light for VAN.
BOS - Possible on Subban. Really hard to tell what his value is because most are judging on Subban at $9m.
NSH - We are fleecing Nashville here. Parssinen is very solid prospect (and an advanced stats darling)
ARI - Looks fair. Farinacci is a so-so prospect...stats look good as he has had good linemates this year.
TOR - Fair on Severson...but I'd prefer to extend him.
EDM - its a little light for Kuokkanen, but probably most we could get if we had to move him.

Fitzgerald has said publicly he is not moving Severson and expects to have him "for two years or more" which means he intends to re-sign him.
If they did move him, it would be after they talk extension in off-season, albeit at lower price.

That offer probably doesn’t even get you Garland, let alone Garland and Hoglander

The Best offer from Torontos side would be Severson for 2022 1st + Robertson + Dermott

Considering that Hagel just brought in 2 1sts, that’s the floor. 1st for each year of control plus a top4 RD>>>a winger

Hagels value comes from him making 1.5 for 3 years. You could probably get two firsts for Severson and a top prospect if you retain money on the contract
