  3. 2023 7th round pick (WPG)
Additional Details:
I’ve seen some Scheifele/Dobson mock trades but i think this makes more sense. they’re around the same age and cap hit. I valued Pulock higher because he has the longer contract. Dillon goes to with him to be 2LD. NYI defense looks like Dillon-Dobson, Pelech-Mayfield and gets a ppg 1C to help the offense. WPG gets a big 1RD they desperately need. helps that he’s manitobian too.

I don't know if the Islanders want Dillon, but Pulock/Scheifele could be something to build on.

This does make more sense than Dobson... but still makes no sense.

I think after signing that big extension, I'd be shocked if the Isles dealt Pulock. Would be a nice addition for the Jets though

I imagine the Islanders would move out a guy like Bailey, and Varlamov to get the cap space to keep both Pulock and Dobson, but I do like the deal. Imaging that right side with Pulock on it is a nice thought.

Schmidt and Stanley are likley getting dealt in separate deals for 2nds or 3rds.

Can't see the Islanders trading Pulock or Pulock wanting to leave the Isles.

No, Isles are not moving Pulock who is starting a new 8 year contract with a Full NTC.

Isles aren't moving Pulock, but if they were interested in moving him it would be for one of Ehlers/Connor, not scheifele.

This really doesn't help the Islanders. The Islanders need to get younger, not older. Also, the Islanders are pretty locked up at the center position. (Barzal, Brock Nelson, Pageau, Cizikas)

agree with the guy who said ehlers/connor is what it’d take for either dobson or pulock. just doesn’t make sense to move one of those two considering what they bring offensively and the sheer lack of nhl defensemen on the roster unless you’re solving the obvious hole on the wing and ehlers or connor would do that. not sure if that makes sense for winnipeg tho

Same problems with the dobson trade. Scheifele plays a position thats already locked up in NY. We would need a 1st line W on a good contract to move a top pair defensman on a good contract.

Don't see the Isles breaking up a top defensive pair in all of hockey
