Not sure anyone here noticed, but the Blues just put on a Cup run-caliber performance. As did Binnington, it must be said. Every forward we were griping had to get going notched at least a point, with Tarasenko firing a 3rd period hatty, and game management out the wazoo.

Yes, that was quite enjoyable.

This Blues team is dangerous. They know how to win playoff games. But, they potentially have the toughest path to the Cup (along with TOR).

They play better against good teams anyway.

Kings are dominant at EV outscoring EDM 12-2 in the 3 Wins.

They talked about it on TSN1200 (not just my words);
But the Blues are hard to matchup against because they have nine twenty goal scorers and they just kinda play hockey. They don’t just play offence or JUST play defence. They have speed, skill, grit, 200ft players/ lines and their depth is scary. When healthy (as they’re entire D core was basically out); they could realistically be the the west champs. I picked Minny to beat them but when the are Blues executing their game plan is arguably the best team in these playoffs (at least in the west).

I believed KK97 would steal a game or two (and he’s got their only goals last night lol); and then they could impose their grinding style of play on the Blue Notes and wear them down but the Blues not falling into that trap has been showing the disparity in the two teams.
