kind of a wild thought... last 2 years ethan bear has been a scratch/non factor for both edm and carolina during the playoffs. kid looked really good and then just crashed back down to reality? what happened with his projections.

Still has top 4 potential but it just seems he does not fit the Canes system. Could see a rebuilding team take him or a team looking for a 2-way RD for their second or third pairing

But yeah he might not get qualified and hit open market this offseason
