I feel Caufield is sort of a sure thing at this point to be a 35+ goal scorer consistently. No one knows what Holz and Slafkovsky will be. Maybe good. Maybe not... When trading futures you gotta sometimes give more than you get.

Sorry but Caufield+Hoffman doesn't get Holtz+2nd overall pick. Heck Holtz might be better than Cole Caufield down the road.

What is the difference between Holtz and Caufield? Besides the fact that Caufield is gonna score 40 goals next season and Holtz won't... except maybe in the AHL?

at 21 years old, you don't trade a player producing at that pace.
