If I went before last year's draft boast around to Flyers fans about them acquiring Risto with that 14th overall everyone would have thought I was an idiot, despite it actually happened.

Because no one here can actually predict what happens in reality, majority of us stick with what is "fair", because we don't have a prior knowledge of when the other GM is going to be an idiot. But based on your trades, every single one of them has this assumption as the basis of it.

Got more than he should’ve because Hughes managed to find a desperate contender that thought he was the missing piece, but he still didn’t get a 1st+good prospect like you kept saying he would. I don’t know why you keep bringing it up to be honest. It’s not like you’re an insider, and there are countless other examples of your evaluations of a player’s value being wrong, and these aren’t even examples of a time when you were correct.

Florida trading a 1st + for a rental in Chiarot in their all in spree was a very bad idea

Colorado trading a 2nd + Barron for an RFA in Lehkonen who helped them get into finals was a good idea

Like Florida got nothing left to trade for a while. Sure they could trade a player or two but then they got to replace them and there is no guarantee the new guy does any better. Meanwhile Colorado still got picks to spend next year.
