Ya tell me about it, it’s the same guy. “An anonymous source from Dallas”, if it ain’t Mike Heika, Matthew DeFranks or Saad Yousef reporting it, it’s 🧢.

Bloggers on Twitter who constantly make up things should face consequences, whether it’s not being able to move up in the industry etc..

Interesting fact about the 2016 draft - only two players from the Top15 on the draft has committed long-term to the team that drafted him.

1. Matthews - signed a 5-year deal that takes him straight to UFA
2. Laine - traded to CBJ
3. Dubois - traded to WPG
4. Puljujärvi - constantly on the rumors of being traded, has only signed a two year deal with EDM and once again looks like he's going to be traded
5. Juolevi - bust, was traded to FLA and then claimed off waivers to DET
6. Tkachuk - took a 3-year bridge, still hasn't agreed to commit long-term in CGY. One year away from becoming UFA, should he want to test the free agency ASAP
7. Keller - first player to sign the 8-year max term deal with the team who drafted him, although might be traded due to Arizona rebuilding...again
8. A.Nylander - bust, was traded to CHI, then traded to PIT
9. Sergachev - was traded to TB
10. Jost - was traded to MIN
11. L.Brown - was traded to STL
12. McLeod - still plays in NJ, but is more or less a 4th liner. Bust compared to expectations.
13. Bean - was traded to CBJ
14. McAvoy - signed a 3-year bridge deal, has since inked a max term contract, is the second guy to commit long-term to the team that drafted him
15. Kunin - was traded to NSH

Hopefully the islanders. Hague-Dobson pair would be fun to watch

Per another source it was confirmed Isles were eyeing Hague 2 weeks ago.

Gonna go buy a lottery ticket now

I think Alex Nylander will contribute next year once Rodrigues leaves via FA. With that spot open Nylander could get some top 6 playtime with whoever is the 2c (hunch its gonna be Trocheck). Cause lets be honest they had no room for him and it made no sense to put a guy like him on the 4th line.

I believe it was PLB who mentioned it.

He said Isles were eyeing Vegas as with limited cap space extending all 3 of Roy, Hague, and Kolesar seems unlikely

And if we look at VGK rn they have a Dcore of

Martinez-Theodore
McNabb-Pitrangelo
Hutton-Whitecloud

So he makes the most sense to be moved

One could argue Roy but idk I doubt they look to move him

Don’t know who PLB is but I’d send a 2nd + Simon Holmstrom for Hague.

I think Rodrigues stays. If he signs an affordable contract, he's a great guy for Pens.

I think Rodrigues is gonna end up on a team looking for a 2c and is gonna get overpaid

I will never forgive Shero for drafting McLeod at #12 and Zacha at #6 the previous draft.

Remove their size and half of them would’ve never started playing hockey.

Oh so the islanders are interested in Josh Anderson? How much are the Habs paying us to take him?

There isn’t a logical argument that Anderson is better than Beauvillier. Beau produces better in the regular season, he’s an elite playoff performer while Anderson becomes invisible . What am I missing?

It’s clear Anderson has market value because considering his on ice impact he should be a cap dump that cost a 1st to move. Obviously that’s not the case, but there is no chance the isles give up pick 13 let alone Beauvillier…

Also it’s funny how in ACGM he’s being put on a line with Barzal. Not even being sarcastic If you asked Barzal if he’d rather play with Komarov or Anderson he’d say Komarov. Anderson might be the dumbest mf in the NHL. I have no doubt it would lead to Barzal requesting a trade

The 2015 and 2016 drafts still haunts me
Zacha and McLeod over Rantanen and McAvoy
