EDM passes on that quite easily. Dillon isn't someone I'd consider giving up Bourgault for and Appleton is hardly an appealing asset, either. I'd much rather buyout Kassian, re-sign Kulak, and keep the 2nd and Bourgault and be in pretty much the same spot.

I am no sure what you think a rebuild is... Its to be really really bad to get good draft picks to be really good again. If jets rebuild you want to be as bad as possible for a shot at Connor Bedard.

Dont think that trade makes sense for Rangers. Not saying its an unfair deal but the Rangers need a center with Chytil on the roster. You are essentially swapping Chytil for Schiefele making it harder ti find that 3rd center

rags trade is getting desperate, scheif is not what he used to be, and now that word is out on him being total cancer in the locker room I cant see teams being so eager to grab him, especially not the up and coming rangers who seem to be one of the tighter knit groups in the league.

How long do people think a rebuild should take? A team should be bad for 1-2 yrs than look to be competitive again if done right. These rebuilds shouldn't be 3-4 yrs of bad.

Well at the end of the day no one wants to do a 2-3 year rebuild but it’s the better option to being a 7-12th place team in the conference. In a few years with the prospects and picks(maybe bedard). Can get you back on the map faster sometimes.

The devils are young and better then people think but they need a goalie... why waste time with guys that would be question marks when you can go get a real good one and likely make the playoffs the next 2 seasons. If its time to try to start winning take the big swings.
