I get he's a 40-goal scorer on a nice deal, but Jarvis AND Necas is just not a starting point. Necas, 1st, and the prospect pool might interest Carolina though.

Understand why you’d want Jarvis but at this point Canes aren’t moving him in a Cat deal

Hawks are asking for a young player, high draft picks and top prospects.

Necas, 1st and a prospect isn't enough for Cat especially since yall don't have too many good prospects.

Jarvis still on an ELC and Necas on a $4-5M bridge deal + a 1st >>>> DeBrincat needing a $9M QO

      So yes, absurd.

Carolina's prospect pool is top 5 in the NHL. There are some fantastic prospects in the pool

The Athletic has them tied with Minny for 5th. I'm not saying there's anything in there worth Cat. But it's a good pool nonetheless.

The Canes front office will likely not want anything to do with DeBrincat’s $9M QO next season, so it’s moot to really discuss hypotheticals

      Sens won't trade Jake Sanderson.

They couldn't get Miro Heiskanen for Erik Karlsson

Not to mention the 7th OA pick as a "sweetener"

They're not going to add another elite piece on top of that pick

These are the available pieces :

      7th OA pick
      2nd and 3rd round picks
      Roby Järventie (19)
      Angus Crookshank (22)
      Zack Ostapchuk (19)
      Viktor Lodin (23)
      Egor Sokolov (22)
      Colin White (25)
      Erik Brännström (22)
      Lassi Thomson (21)
      Maxence Guénette (21)
      Filip Gustavsson (24)

Not lol of these deals are built equally. In no world does Ottawa swap Sanderson so Cat and certainly not with 7th overall attached.

Id be willing to give up anyone except morrow and Jarvis. So Necas, a 1st, and any of Suzuki, Heimosalma, Drury (I'd not like it tho), Lorentz, Rees, Gunler, Koivunen, Honka, Keane, Puistola, Ponomaryov, Blake, Seeley

      No good prospects tho

Suzuki isn't that good. I don't think heimosalma is good either. not sure u can count Lorentz as a prospect anymore but hes ok I suppose. Had no idea who this blake guy was but he look like he could possibly be decent. same w Puistola. the rest seem pretty good. and I never said they didn't have any good prospects I said they don't have many amazing prospects. if yall aren't willing to give up Jarvis & necas u aren't getting him. if u want to get Cat without jarvis ur probably give two 1st half of those good prospects and necas. u guys are either over value ur own players/prospects or yall under value Cat. the chance of any of those prospects u named being as good as cat is like maybe 1%

I thought I said canes would give up Necas AND and any of those other pieces and prospects. So sounds like we could make a deal from your last few sentences above.
