Something to keep an eye on with that recapture stuff. Apparently it's built into the CBA so unless each team wants to forfeit like $100k in cap space I think the Oilers might still get that credit.

I wasn’t sure that Jared Davidson would get drafted, but he’s not a bad pick as an overager. He was by far the highest scorer on a very good Thunderbirds team this year.

Playing NHL games doesn’t make you an NHL calibre goalie. Do you consider Hutchinson an NHL goalie? Or David Ayres? Both of those guys should not be more than your #3 at this point in their careers. There’s definitely a need to rush when you have the roster of a contender but don’t even have a capable backup goalie, let alone a starter lol
