Kind of surprised Dubas drafted Moldenhauer over Bryce McConnell-Barker

But hey Dubas's is putting the

"he doesnt draft Canadians" nonsense to bed

With Dumais off the board, this has officially become goalie watch, specifically Tyler Brennan. He’s the best goalie available by far, and at this point there’s no risk in going for him. Then seeing where all the other goalies fall (particularly Hugo Havelid) will be intriguing

That’s 4 picks in a row I really like. George to the Isles in particular is a good pick

What kind of player is he?

Isaiah George ain’t a bad pick

I absolutely love George. Would have picked him as a late 2nd tbh, one of the most athletic prospects of this class.

What kind of player is he?

He’s mobile, solid defensively, and good in transition. Very reliable, but got limited ice time because London plays vets. Now that he’ll be the vet next year, he should break out into a solid 2-way LD.

There you go lol, shame Ottawa followed it up by taking someone I’ve never heard of for the 3rd time this draft 🙃

Someone at the isles table must have notifications on for Cam Robinson and is just drafting whoever he says is best available

Leonard and a 3rd for Kunin.

Leonard wasn’t gonna thrive in SJ but that’s a bad trade imo.

Buffalo is highkey having an excellent draft as well. They’re 6/6 imo with Savoie (expected) + Ostlund (right area) + Kulich (steal) + Leinonen (fine, best goalie) + Neuchev (steal) + Lindgren (steal)

Ducks get Ben King who is a very intriguing overager who can do a little bit of everything. A centre core of Zegras / McTavish / Gaucher / King has literally everything you could possibly want up the middle.

Sharks get Mason Beaupit, who I’m pretty sure is the biggest goalie in the draft and the last one expected to go before the 7th. Couple solid picks there.

I don’t know, I have a hunch Bofa gets drafted before the 7th

So what I gathered from Friedman, Cam Talbot likely wants out.

I think he's going to be Leafs' next goalie.

You can never have too many goalies (especially when goaltending isn’t exactly a strength for the Sharks). At least you took one of the better ones in a weak goalie class. Him + Gaudreau is a good combo to have in the pipeline.

Cam Talbot/James Reimer tandem Wouldnt be upset with that but it would hurt to see Campbell go at the same time

Columbus’s last 2 picks, 5’8” 165 and 6’6 236. Little bit of a size difference there.

How does it feel to cheer for a team that is actually good at drafting. Can’t relate
