If CGY is making that trade, it's because they are well in the playoffs....so I don't see a late 1st and a good prospect being enough

He's assuming Pastrnak would sign prior or afterwards, and thus not be a rental. I don't want Calgary resigning Tarasenko.

A sign and trade, Is equivalent to a roster player/prospect plus 2 1st and a 2nd round pick. Just look at the Seth Jones and Hampus Lindholm trades. Sorry but that's not nearly enough for David Pastrnak not even close.

Calm down. It's not that bad. Coronato is a blue chip RW prospect. Maybe there is another pick or prospect, but it's certainly not laughable.

That doesn't even get Pastrnak as a rental, Let alone as a sign and trade that's equivalent to a roster player/Prospect plus 2 1st and 2nd round pick.

Wrong, That's what you pay as a rental, Sorry but a blue chip prospect plus a late 1st doesn't get a sign and trade David Pastrnak. A vast majority of the league would blow away that offer.

I’ll hold the L on this one, I didn’t realize Coronato was that good.

Boston only accepts this if they are way out of the playoff picture

I don't see Pasta doing a sign and trade anyways so it's probably a moot point. Pasta is one of the best RW snipers in the game. Resigning him won't come cheap.

I agree, that they would get more. I'm just saying Sweeny would ponder Coronato, considering his position and how good a player he is. I would take Coronato over two mid tier prospects elsewhere.

Cam Neely and Don Sweeney have started that they are very serious about resigning David Pastrnak and he will be a Bruin for Life

In Calgary, you are probably looking at 11X8, if not more. I know it sounds crazy but you guys kinda tied your hands with that huberdeau contract. Pasta deserves more than huberdeau

Toffoli would be a great fit with Lee and Nelson on the 2nd line but idk that they can afford him. Believe me I’m interested tho.

Trade value aside: how can Calgary justify $10.5x8 for Huberdeau and only $9.5x8 for Pasta? Very equal players and over the next 8 years you would much rather Pastrnak on your team
