Only way Dallas gets rid of oettinger is if they get rid of some mega untradable contracts with it, but probably neither going to happen.

Clearly you are unaware how LTIR works by that statement. You add 10.5 million in cap to get 10.5 million in cap relief when you add and subtract the same number it is a net zero sum.
1) Price is no cap relief all acquiring Price Does for Dallas is allow them to pay the uninsured part of his contract . Unless the recieving team is ditching a high salary they need off the books or need to reach the cap floor it is absolutely senseless to acquire an LTIR contract.
2)You don't trade an extremely young top Level Goalie Period.
3) Dvorak is Meh at best especially at that price point.

"Three good prospects"?!?!? Primeau has done nothing to show that he's anything more than a cusp NHL/AHL goalie, and Dallas have four prospects (Dellandrea, Bourque, Johnston and Stankoven) head and shoulders above Heineman and Tuch.

Oettinger is worth more than Dvorak, the over-the-horizon first and that melange of spare parts.
