I think Caps fans here can tell you that you can't really trust on Samsonov to be the goalie to bring that light in Toronto, but it never hurts to be hopeful.

I still have to wonder why Dubas is so fixated in career 1B 2A goalies, especially ones that are somewhat injury prone. They can steal you a game or two but you just can't build a successful team around them if you ask me.

its the sammy rollarcoaster. he has done this before. sometimes last year we thought he was are starter and than other times we knew he was leaving in the off season and we where keeping vitek

I got a feeling he just needed a change of scenery. Caps just threw him to the wolves to soon and it backfired as when u go with 2 inexperienced guys as your tandem rather than young and vet tandem it can go wrong fast. Would have kept Holtby or brought a vet in as wisdom is key these days. We just told him to play and show us what hes got and so far its been nice. Hopefully once Murray returns we can give him a rest and get Murray on the right path next.
