Fire sale might as well sell Connor/helly/scheifele and cut it rather deep. As many 23 firsts as possible

I like Ehlers but I think you need to rein in your ask. That's an awful lot for a player who has never had more than 29 goals and 60 points (and those were in his first season). If the Wings were to give up a package of this size it would be for Connor not Ehlers. And yes I understand that to get Connor the pieces would have to be better.
Btw Fabbri is not a cap dump.

Your ask isn't bad, but Detroit is not trading 1st round picks. Yzerman was pretty emphatic about that.

Wouldn't trade Ehlers for that, shouldn't be trading Ehlers at all though.

Zero chance Holland even looks at that offer.

Can't see Winnipeg moving Ehlers (which they shouldn't) but the value simply isn't there in the Detroit trade.

Pionk plays 1st pairing but his metrics are bad. I'm not sure I would trade Barrie for Pionk 1-for-1 just based on their cap hits.

Value in the deal is fair for Anaheim on a few conditions, the question simply becomes, will PLD play left wing? We already have McTavish, Strome, and Zegras fighting for our top 6 center position, and it would be a waste to play PLD on the third line where we use Lundestrom. I think PLD would be a great addition to the Zegras Terry line, if we can get him to be happy at LW.

The conditions of PLD coming to Anaheim are does he want to play in Anaheim long term, does he come with an extension, and what does that contract look like?

First, Jason Karmanos may want to balance his RHD with his LHD, so adding Dylan is very logical move.
Second, what has DeMelo accomplished since 2020-Feb-18 to increase his value from third round draft pick to a second.
The two years preceding the trade he scored 42 pts in 140 games, certainly worth a third for a RHD.
Since the trade he has 22 pts in 142 games, it would appear his value has decreased dramatically.
Third, while Buffalo may be in the hunt for a RHD, only three current roster players are older than Dylan, and two could be gone at the end of the year Okposo and Anderson.
When any one scores a goal, they act like a bunch of teen age Junior Hockey players.
At 29 yo, he would not fit into the teams culture.
Fourth, it is highly unlikely Karmanos would be giving up a second for Dylan, more likely a roster player and maybe a low level prospect.
A trade would probably be Bryson (21 pts in 115 games over the last 3 seasons) and a fifth or prospect, but certainly not a second and fifth.

I wouldn't 1-1. I like the way Barrie is playing hrs gotten burnt a few times but just about every time he has its been more on his partner than on him. Kulak tripped over himself leading to Barrie looking bad think against flames. Niemelainen 2 games in a row left Barrie hanging to defend a rush. I'm kinda at a point that left side might need a veteran presence just to stabilize things a bit and let Murray Niemelainen and broberg battle it out this season for 7th d.

Even if Winnipeg blows it up it makes no sense to trade Vesalainen. I think Detroit makes the playoffs next season anyways.
