Detroit could be picking anywhere from 10th OA to 14th OA, Monahan at 50% retained has nowhere near that kind of value in an extremely deep draft. Monahan doesn't make us a better team. Detroit easily passes.

Fair enough - It was more if Detroit had a good chance to be in playoff at TDL. We got the first of Florida ‘23 + a B prospect vs chariot last year..

Yzerman already pretty much said, That even if Detroit is playoff bound. He's probably not going to be spending. And we're fine at C so Monahan would be the very last person we would be targeting..

That’s not helping. No thanks.

Don’t imagine Reilly will be with Boston past Xmas.

Would not claim Drouin if you waived him.

Yzerman stated he is not trading 2023 picks.

Monahan is not getting a 1st from a rebuilding team as he is a FA and Wings are rebuilding.

Again Wings not helping Habs rebuild by hurting their own rebuild.

Every team that’s not Montreal declines without even the slightest bit of hesitation.

I’m surprised you didn’t add in Armia and Anderson for Girard and a 2023 1st

Ottawa has

Thomas Chabot
Jake Sanderson
Erik Brannstrom
Nick Holden

On LD

Why would they need Joel Edmundson and why would they pay a 1st?
