I don't know if the Kings think that OEL with half retention is the solution. I can tell you they're definitely not going to give up Helge Grans (or any quality prospect) in return. At most, they'd give up the 3rd round pick.

Islanders dont want Miller and are not trading Raty. It would be way different if JT Miller was on some insane tear and didnt have an extension, but his extension and good but not great play makes him a no go.
