True as 'Gerry Bettman' yakked about - the "$4M rise" is more like another $1MIL...that fact would def give him more value - if he (agent) stays on BUDGET!

Although, his mention was a shot across the NHLPA bow saying it could go higher if you chaps play ball!!!

I feel we might get 2mill (1mill through normal means + 1 mill through NHLPA) but most likely 83.5mill

Still dont know why he went hey 4-4.5mill increase could happen back in October probs got to excited

Tage Thompson will score 60 this season

He really could...had a really bad start to the season sadly but if he didn't he could be sitting closer to 30 goals already.

I'd still rather have Vasilevskiy at 9.5M than any of those below 5M goalies.

I never heard anyone in the media or any Lightning fan express concern over Vasy's last extension. That says a lot about the confidence in the player and the organization. And Vasy's playoff numbers over the last 2 years speak for themselves.

Well hey it gives us something to laugh at so I say lets keep it going lul

As remember Holland tampered to get Campbell and look how that turned out

I think Lehner's fine for the price just needs to get healthy. Everyone else yeah its a woops deal

Problem with Lehner is he needs to be physically AND mentally healthy. He's definitely capable of being a true #1, just not gonna happen in Vegas, I'm afraid. Best case for Vegas, Lehner gets healthy by next season so they can trade him. He seems to be a bit of a distraction and this team is way better with Logan Thompson.

I think when he comes back he's gonna be in a mindset of I want my job back gimmie and let's see. As competition can lead to better results

Maybe, maaaaybe (big maybe), he lives up to this contract, but he sure as sh*t won’t ever outplay it. I really like Kevyn Adams, but this was a horrid move

Easily the worst take I’ve made on this website lol

Bobcat’s Post Game Notes, Game 31

Jackets lose, 2-1 against the Dallas Stars.

-Some changes in the lineup: Kent Johnson has been put in the first-line center spot between Johnny Gaudreau and Patrik Laine. The fanbase has been screaming about this since preseason. I’m excited to see how they mesh together.

-Boone Jenner goes on IR for a broken thumb, so up comes Joshua Dunne to take his open spot in the lineup. Bemmer and Fix were snubbed.

-Andrew Peeke runs into Mason Marchment, and they both crash into Tarry in the net. Andy looked kinda shaken up after that one…

-This game has looked pretty chippy so far. Lots of pushing and shoving after whistles. Not something I really expected from these two teams.

-We’ve had a lot of time in the offensive zone, but Jake Oettinger has stopped ‘em all. Ilya Sorokin is still my vote for the Vezina this year, but Otter is definitely gonna be a finalist. Man’s a goddamn lunatic!

-Yegor Chinakhov goes off with an upper body injury he somehow acquired, and he’s not returning for tonight. You HAVE to be f*cking joking.

-Gavi then takes a puck to the ear. Ouch.

-Both teams looked very even for the first 20 minutes. We just gotta score first!

-…not even a FULL MINUTE into the second period, Wyatt Johnston capitalizes on a juicy rebound and scores.

-God, this game has been very boring. Both goalies have looked solid so far. That’s really all to report.

-Finally, a penalty! Nils Lundkvist slashes Kenny with 6 seconds left in the second period. With how pushy-shovey both teams have been after whistles, I’m surprised it took this long.

-The Stars kill that one off. Strong defensive play and Otter being Otter really bailed them out there.

-We had a lot of rushes, but Oettinger didn’t even get a chance to get it. Dallas’s defense is ROCK SOLID tonight.

-Not a lot of action until we pull Tarry, and then give up an empty netter with 1 minute left.

-Kent Johnson scores a goal with 15 seconds left, but by this point it doesn’t matter. At least we weren’t shut out?

-Jake Oettinger is a goddamn brick wall. Any lesser goalie would have given up much more than one goal with the amount of shots we gave him. I wholeheartedly respect it.

He saved 46 on 47 or 48 shots the other day against us. He is a fellow American so he gets a pass. I’m ok to losing to a performance like that

Saw a rumour on twitter yesterday that a contending team could've had him for a 5th Round pick from Buffalo a few years ago and the contending team said no. His trajectory is wild

Absolutely wild, I thought he was going to be good...but not this good. I figured maybe a 20 goal winger...not a top3 center for almost half of a season.

This was what i expected back in 2020 "In an 82 game season Eichel and Hall should end with 100+ for Eichel easily and 80/90+ for Hall with 60 pts for their winger wether it's Tage or Cozens." I made a lot of AGMS to start the 20-21 season with Hall - Eichel - Tage.

If he got traded to another team, it’s unlikely he would’ve been as good. Credit to Granato for switching him to center and allowing him to make mistakes and gain confidence

I guess now ya'll are seeing why it's so exciting to be a Stars fan right now. Most of our top guys are young and then guys like Benn and Seguin are back playing like top 6 talent again.

He is unbelievably good. I'm no Islanders fan, but Sorokin is extremely fun to watch and is definitely an early Vezina favourite

If McDavid only played on the PP and never saw the ice at even strength he'd still be averaging over a point per game. He's on pace for 84 PPP this season. Just a mind blowing stat!

Dahlin will soon be the 12th youngest NHL defender to hit 200 points, no active player is higher than him. The Brian leetch is the most recent player who would have hit 200 at a younger age than Dahlin. Full list ahead of him is Orr, Coffey, Housley, Borque, Murphy, reinhart, Stevens, Babych, Leetch, Potvin, Bodger. Decent Company.

Technically he could be higher than 12th. I just ran 22 year olds with 200 pts and each of the above have over 200 at 22.
