Not even a slight chance Chevy considers any of the trades. Teams in the running for a playoff spot don't make tons of random trades. Not to mention O'Reilly is out for at least another 6 weeks.

Why on earth would Buffalo do that?

Edit: I see you've changed the trade

Sabres wouldn’t even consider that

Lots of declines here by teams not named the Jets.

Isn't Wallinder a really good prospect? Either way Heinola doesn't have that kind of value.

Hmm. Winnipeg would never offer that, but this offer would certainly make the Blues think. Their answer probably depends on what PLD would want to sign for. If it's reasonable, they probably take this offer.

Easy decline from Detroit. Love the song though.

I mean, Buffalo is closer to Montreal, so maybe he’ll change his mind?

It must have changed, when I look now it's jokiharju and a pair of seconds for pionk. I don't love that trade honestly, we need a physical defensive right shot d. I don't see much reason to pay a pair of seconds to upgrade jokiharju to pionk, and still not address what we really need.

If you add three 1st round picks maybe Detroit will consider it.

Wallinder is easily just as good of a prospect as Heinola if not better. And he's 6'4" and Heinola is only 5'11"
Plus the STL 2nd in a deep draft when STL is having a down year? Pick likely to fall in the 40-45 range. Easy pass.

Yeah, he did change the trade
I agree with you though on the new trade as well

Maybe Jokiharju & one 2nd
But as I’ve said all along, it’s not just acquiring good players at this point- we need to acquire the *right* ones
Pionk would be an upgrade, but he still might not be the right guy we should target
