Really curious how much is SJS asking for Meier

As if Toronto and NYR went for Tarasenko and ROR clearly the price is more than we are all thinking

Like im starting to wonder if its 2 1sts + A level prospect and other stuff

Neither the Rangers nor the Leafs could re-sign him. The fact that he's RFA, younger, and better than Vlad and Factor makes him more expensive.

I'm agreeing with you. Maybe you should look at who you're quoting, because that question wasn't directed at me and I'm under no obligation to due other people's homework for them.

haha relax my friend.

Actually Toronto could resign him. Theres a misconception about that but our bottom 6 would be very inexperienced come 2023-2024

There's a acgm on twitter demonstrating it with him at 8.5mill. But man our bottom 6 was rough lul

With ROR Toronto can extend him and Acciari and still have rook to do other things with their bottom 6

mmm depends on how much the team would have cared about its bottom 6

As it would have been

You both have a point. Should FO% and +/- have an real place in discussing defensive play? Not really, so he has a point. Do they get factored in, especially in Selke voting? I'd almost guarantee it, so you have a point.
NHL award voting is messed up most years.

No matter how potent your top 6, you can't win, especially in the playoffs, with no bottom 6 depth. One of the biggest knocks against the Leafs in recent years has been that they're too top heavy. Imagine spending $50M+ on 5 Forwards. I'd like to see it.

Considering how often guys who are good in the dot get hyped up as good defensively even when they're average by writers, I'd be surprised if the same bias didn't leak into the voting. Guess we'll see when the voting happens and the results are released.

More voters use analytics now, they’ve been getting the award winners right the last few years. Bergeron is going to win it again, and he deserves it. Pettersson should get some votes though.

Guys, Stützle seems pretty good.
Is he a top 20 center already?

Who was the last Selke winner with a FO% below 50%? How about 44.8%? Take your time...

We’re not talking about pettersson coming in 1st, he deserves to be in the top 20 and get some consideration. He is one of the better top line two way centers in the game.

Timo Meier is not practicing for the Sharks today. A team spokesman said he is here at the practice facility.

No hugs have been witnessed. #hugwatch

Quinn said Meier's day to day with an UBI.
Not sure there's anything in particular to read into here.

Given Bowness' style of play, I wonder if Winnipeg could be the landing spot for Gavrikov?

WPG got to many Dman.

Gav makes sense for a team needing to solidify their D

Rn WPG has Morrisey, Dillon, and Samberg with Heinola being #4 and Stanley #5 for LD
