I defiantly wouldn't want to be a young FWD prospect in NJD if/when both guys sign long-term.

Am I the only one who really loves the Saint Pats jerseys? Honestly I think they’re the best jerseys the leafs have

It's a great problem to have but someone good will/could get squeezed out (Holtz, Gritsyuk, Clarke, Sharangovich, Foote only so much ice to go around. The hard part will be on deciding on who

Drouin apparently missed a team meeting (according to Basu tweet) and may possibly end up scratched for Saturday's game.
Hope he's doing okay. Could be nothing, but should be reached out to in case he's struggling.

I think they're awesome. Auston Matthews is wearing this jersey for his 2017-18 Upper Deck card. It's one of my favorite cards.

Holtz has 3 years ELC, Foote has 2, Clarke has 2, Sharangovich can do 1 year x $2m before we extend long term and Gritsyuk hasn’t signed yet.

The guys that may get squeezed out in short-term are Graves and/or Severson if they wanted to bring one of them back. I think Schmid has already supplanted Blackwood anyway, so he probably is moved out too.

According to my calculations this would be the lineup tomorrow if Drouin and Guhle sit.
RHP - Suzuki - Ylo
Hoffman - Belzile - Anderson
Pitlick - Tiereny - Gurianov
Pezzetta- Richard

Matheson - Savard
Edmundson - Barron
Kovacevic


I don't know of they can sit drouin.

I do like the St. Pats a lot but why these are not the regular jerseys today is a shame

They have the cap space to extend Meier and Bratt. It'll get more complicated next summer with Dawson, especially if he has a really big season. It's a high class problem as the Devils really haven't been in a cap squeeze for a very long time. Having your top 2 Centers locked up at far below market value is a massive W.

Severson is almost certainly not coming back.

Just makes preserving Nemec’s second slide year that much more important.

They should try and make a jersey characteristic of the alternate St. Pats Jersey with the brown helmets and all

If Levi turns out to be a franchise goaltender, the Sabres should have no problem winning at least 1 cup in the next 5 seasons.

A lot of their best players play are relentless and play a style that should be successful in the playoffs

Through one period, Hofer looks solid. He’s gotta stop giving up so many rebounds though. On the other side, Washington is losing themselves the game with incessant passes to no one. If they actually look before launching the puck, there’s a chance they can get back in it, but as of now, they’re lucky it’s only 1-0 St. Louis.
