Fair offer for Gregor who still has untapped upside.

He's ready for an actual top 6 role which he hasn't been able to get in Tampa.

What's the allure? Zadina is 3 years younger and has a higher ceiling. At Zadina's age, Colton wasn't even an NHL player. I don't understand why people want to give up on him.

Physical two way forward, wicked shot and a bunch of upside. Put him in the top 6 and watch him go, powerplay time would be a help for him as well. He's just buried behind all the guys in Tampa. Maybe with Killorn leaving then he might flourish more.

Fine, but keep Zadina and move Kuba instead IMO.

Wouldn't be opposed to it. Sneaky little breakaway goal game 1 was pretty nice.

Tampa declines that Colton deal. A 2nd round pick in '24 means very little for them, and Colton should be in the top 6 full time next year.

Colton has back to back 30+ pts seasons on a team playing 11 minutes a night, very limited pp and prime offensive opportunities. He's been very productive and I like his skill level. Given a bigger role I think hes primed to be a top 6 player. Zadina just hasn't played up to his ability. He does some things well I like how he transports the puck but he just hasn't produced and he's just fallen down the depth chart. Idk what his roll is.

You're higher than a satellite no TB player ever gets undervalued because they don't get an opportunity on the best team in the league over the past 8years at least don't believe me they are 8years 7 playoffs 2 Conference Final appearances 2 cup final appearances 2 Cups best team in that period BAR NONE!!!!!! The Dead things aren't getting Colton.

What the allure Carter Verheaghe wasn't in the NHL at Zadina's age buried in Tampa Bay,What the allure Yanni Gourde wasn't in the NHL at Zadina's age buried in Tampa Bay, what's the allure Jonathan Marchessault wasn't in the NHL at Zadina's age buried in Tampa Bay Colton is FAR MORE PRODUCTIVE THAN EITHER WAS WITH LESS OPPORTUNITY. You don't have to worry because NO F***ING CHANCE JBB is this Stupid . When are people going to realize he doesn't give a F*** about picks.
You see TB IS WAYYYYYY BETTER THAN DETROIT and have the luxury to properly develop players Detroit is getting there. Zadina wouldn't be in the NHL were he part of the lightning organization he'd be riding the bus in Cuse

I am in the middle. It would be a risky move to trade Zadina in the offseason, because there are always ”Busts” who becomes good suddenly. Kotkaniemi, Tippet, Hayton, Vilardi, Dach…I could list 10 more here from just this season alone. I would rather trade a LD prospect or a pick than Zadina.
If Zadina starts poorly again next season, Sure, trade him.

Would love to get a 2nd for Gregor but honestly that's a bit of an overpayment. He has lots of potential but still at the end of the day he has issues finishing the chances his great speed creates.
