Not saying the cost is bad for Quinn, but really not where the Devils have much need to spend to improve. Siegs and Bahl as shutdown guys with Luke being the puck mover on LHD side will be the core for the next many years. Already have Marino as a shutdown guy on the right, Hamilton as a offensive weapon, and Nemec soon to be a two-way guy.

If his name were Quinn Andrews, no one even thinks about sending him to NJ.

Sens decline. They don't need another expensive Center

I think the total rehaul that this would require the Sens to make would make this not worth it for them, as obviously incredible as Pettersson is

I think the blues would rather just ride out the Binnington contract. We are most likely looking at a 2 year retool. Might as well see if Binnington can turn it around or one of our young goalies Hofer/Zherenko can show anything. Fixing our defense is our biggest priority and getting a new goalie won't make much of a difference

I don’t see why the blues would do that
Binner is actually petty good when behind an actual nhl caliber defense

Even with Bahl instead of Boqvist the value is already heavily in NJ’s favour

Devils are not and will never be interested in Hughes at a price that Nucks fans would be happy with

Why would Vancouver ever want to trade Pettersson? Do you know how hard it is to find a player like that?

Same for Ottawa and Jake Sanderson

The thing is they will NEED Sanderson much more than Pettersson as they already have Stutzle, Norris, Greig and Pinto down the middle. Can't see the first 3 play anywhere else than C too
