Not sure LA accepts the 1st trade, but if they do, so do the Hawks. Best the Leafs get in that Murray trade is the Rangers '23 2nd (#54). No chance Hawks send their own 2nd (#35). Hawks don't make the 3rd trade. Murphy half retained for 3 years is worth a 1st plus. So Hawks are trading away two 1st's plus to move up 6 spots and get Nadeau. That's just too rich. Take the retention out and the Hawks at least consider it. Love the Killorn signing! And I'd be ok w/ Cole too. Vlasic will definitely be in the NHL next season at LD. And possibly Isaac Phillips too.

1. We need to trade Walker, for both cap and roster flexibility.
2. We really could use a draft pick in the top half of the second round in this year's draft.
3. As much as I would like to be patient with Alex Turcotte, I think that we can afford not to be.

Sabres trade is too complicated. Drop Nadeau and Mitchell and you don't need to retain on Murphy.

As soon as you resigned Caleb I was against the whole thing. He should have been paying the Hawks for letting him play in the NHL. I wouldn’t mind giving Turcotte a shot, but that is not in line w/KD’s game plan.
