Yikes, CBJ isn't giving up the third overall for one year of Lindholm.
Teams will wait for waivers on Vladar, even then is there a market for him.
The Nylander trade is fair, but Leafs need a goal scorer rather than a another LHD
Historically it costs a lot to move into the top ten, and there is no way that CBJ will take Lindholm, Zary and their 2nds as comp. It would have to be 16 OA, which I think Calgary should just keep. This is a deep draft, and I would rather have 3 picks in the first round than one top 5 pick (excluding Fantili and Bedard of course).

What is it with the Western Canadien teams that think CBJ is going to give away that pick?

It happens all the time on CF....fans think a another post rumour is true, so they adjust the same pieces in a trade, followed by 100 people who do the same thing.
Some Flames fans still haven't got over that Gaudreau left as a UFA to Columbus, so now they think Lindholm wants to play in Columbus, so the Columbus will give up a third overall to get him.
Drive me nuts when so many trades are based upon the 99% unpractical extensions.
