Anaheim answer is still no.

No 1st round selections from the last 5 years, nor first round picks for the next three are available for any of Toronto's core 4.

Canucks easily decline. No interest in Rielly, we already have a better version of him in Hughes.

No respect for Rangers cap. Kings say no easily. One awful trade for the Leafs with the Flames, just to severely overpay UFA Dumba.

Hronek > Rielly. You’d have to add for the Canucks to take Rielly’s contract for free

Comtois is garbage. Drysdale is injured. McTavish is nice but at 20 Matthews had already scored 74 goals and was a PPG player.

Canucks need Hronek way, way more then they need Reilly. The Canucks would need a ton of assets just to take on Reilly

Leaf fans turning up with more garbage offers. Vilardi and Byfield are not for sale as they are the core being built around. Best LA can do is Iafallo, Durzi and 1st. Just like the Muzzin deal but with more talented players being sent back.

I don’t know man, if the AM contract was reasonable, I think I’d do this. McTavish looks solid, but Matthews is elite. Drysdale has a ton of promise, but our d prospect pool is deep enough to take the hit, and we already are a bit undersized on the back-end, so I’m okay moving one of the smaller dmen

Not itching to trade any of these guys, but for Matthews I’d be open to it

Our depth is not deep at right, after Drysdale there isn't anyone in the system I feel confident about.

The same way Toronto can't have a guy making 13 million, neither can we.

He won't sign a reasonable contract anyway.

Seven seasons or more of Gabe Vilardi, the first two of which at least will be 50% of William Nylander's hit or less, versus one season of Nylander.

How could you think we would consider that for more than a nanosecond? (Never mind Byfield.)
