I don't think that Montreal would accept Rossi and Addison (both of whom you've traded here) plus the two firsts for the #5 overall, because that selection is going to be a game-changer either now (Smith) or later (Michkov), and so the Canadiens would want a potential game-changer in return. I think that @Subbanator7667 is right in that Montreal will only move for Kaprizov, and you aint doin' that.


I think that you missed Gustavsson, who would be a good idea inasmuch as Winnipeg will probably be trading Hellebuyck, but it still isn't enough.

This isn't horrible for the Jets, but not quite enough. They NEED to move Scheifele, and in return they get a promising young 2 way forward in Haight, a Starting goalie who can be a 1A or 1B, Steel is a decent bottom 6 forward with speed and a cap dump player.

Throw in one of those 1st round picks and deal.
