I think these trades favor the Avs a lot and there is no way Manson waives to go to Arizona.

I mean I could complain about all three of these trades being bad for the other teams but that's not on par with Red Wings fans on this site.

Value aside, Wings trade makes no sense for a team in win now mode.

Manson has very little value with his recent health and his contract. Arizona doesn’t consider this.

Avs need a stable backup goalie and I don’t know why the Blackhawks would give up multiple assets for one year of an older goalie.

There's a lot of underpaying here on UFAs and trades by the Avs here. The trades don't make much sense. But i like the team - another talented 2LW and a 2C makes a lot of sense.

Make RoR 5 years x $5mil and he signs immediately. That $5mil won't hurt when he's 3C in years 3 and 4 and year 5 shouldn't really matter.

Girard to Arizona could work in place of Manson. It doesn't have to be Crouse either. Arizona has some sneaky good forward contracts and some pissed players, there's a move to be made there.

The rest has been said - Stastny is fine, but Newhook should be in that role or in a more prominent winger role.

I don't think Detroit trade makes sense and I also don't think Benson makes it to 9. You'll probably be looking at Moore, ASP and one of Reinbacher or Dvorsky still being on the board at 9.
