He’s playing for an American team, doesn’t he have Obama care? I think that means Obama paying for it.

Well, you know, having Obama care is like having a free supply of pepperoni in your trailer park. It's like, 'Hey, everyone gets a slice!' But then, you realize you gotta pay for the pizza, and suddenly you're stuck with a bunch of toppings you didn't ask for. It's a whole lot of confusion, buddy!

The system here is quite confusing and in a medium of being agreeably bad.

Just not sure PHI wants 3 contracts, 2 of which are 24-25 yr olds really going nowhere.

Bemstrom and a 2nd with a bit less retention sounds probably closer. Hayes, at 30 yrs old and 50 pts for 5mil is a pretty good deal. Or CBS drops 2.3mil Bean in the deal

I think adding the other 2nd would actually make the flyers do that. Adding two more picks in the "first year of the rebuild" I think would be too tempting.

To your point though, I would rather Bean instead of one of the throw-ins here.

I don't know if I'd give up a 2nd for Boqvist, Over the last 3 seasons he has played in 133 games out of a possible 246.

That feels like more than the Devils payed for Meier. Would love the player on CBJ but not sure we can afford having another highly paid winger with Gaudreau/Laine on the roster.

Hayes shouldn't get a 2nd round pick. He's a W/C that makes way too much money. We already have Jack Roslovic on the roster who is younger and cheaper and on the books for less time. If Kevin Hayes is extremely cheap, CBJ is in. If not, he's not a strong upgrade. He's a middle 6 C with a high probability of declining on his current deal.

I think Boqvist can get a 1st considering Lundkvist was a worse player, same age and got a late Dallas 1st.

133 out of 220. but yeah he’s injury prone. That’s why he would likely only cost a late first or 2nd +. If he were healthy he would be significantly more valuable

Jackets easily decline that devils trade. They don’t need a winger and that’s a huge overpay even if they did. only players devils have the jackets would offer that package for is Hughes or Hischier and the devils would never trade either of them
