Please read what I said and not what you want to believe I said. At no point did I claim whether any of the prospects mentioned were “significant”. I am merely pointing out how the roster will be constructed and utilized.
My assessment of the prospects is pretty much as you stated with the one exception being Kaiser. My opinion is Vlasic has the potential to be a middle pairing defensive d-man. Philips and Roos are in my opinion organizational depth guys, # 7 or 8 guys who will bounce up and down between Rockford and Chicago. Kaiser is the wild card but I would love for you to enlighten us all with your amazing talent evaluation skills and point to specific attributes of his game that make you so confident he is a “crappy prospect”. I mean you were able to identify that Tinordi and Zaitsev “suck” which is next level talent evaluating. So what was you saw in all 9 of Kaiser’s pro game experience that has you writing him off as crappy?
Oh, and thanks for telling me who I can or can’t get excited about, not sure what I would have done without your direction, I mean you did select a handful of 1at and 2nd round picks so….
Youre so upset its sad.
Im not gonna write a 10 paragraph essay for you. If you genuinely cared about my evaluation, i glaldy would but you dont.
I never told you what to do. Im telling you the truth. I told you that you have a lot of guys who are exciting prospects, and then a lot of guys who arent. And I said that you shouldnt waste your time caring about Roos or Kaiser because they arent gonna win you a cup, just like that 3rd wont be the reason you do either.
And my entire point is that not moving a mid 3rd which has a very low chance of becoming anything for Ceci who very easily could be flipped into something that does have an impact is just bad asset management. It just is. Look at what McCabe got, then look at their advanced metrics, then look at contract and then positional value. Then look at the fact that Chicago has a lot of cap space with a lot of money coming off of the books soon as well, meaning that now is the best possible time to acquire a player like Ceci
And its funny I never even said they should do it for a 3rd, the OP did. I think if they needed to move a 3rd they should, but you guys are out here saying they need to be paid to do this. Thats insane. A 5th/6th would likely be possible given Edmonton's cap disaster. So if youre gonna say you wouldnt move a 6th for him then just block me lol
