I'm a Hurricanes fan and having Svech as a top 5 LW is absolutely insane
Slavin is better than Toews

Svech isn’t top 5

Heiskanen and Josi should be 1 and 2 for LHD

Hughes > Hedman, Toews, and Dahlin

Saros and Hellebuyck >> Oettinger and Ullmark

Matthews is ahead of Pettersson

McAvoy is ahead of Karlsson

Where is all this love for Pettersson coming from? He's a heck of a player, but saying he's the 4th best center in the league? Over Matthews?

I don't get it.

I’m taking Petterson over matthews he out scored matthews short handed and at even strength and is better defensively and he did all this while playing on significantly worse team

Toews is better for sure. He has been higher in Norris voting for past 3 years, better offensively, great at defense, is ranked better by NHL.com, better plus minus, more blocked shots, more hits, less giveaways, more TOI, more even strength points, more shots, more ATOI, more WAR and the list goes on. Svech is ti\op 5 because I couldn't think of anyone else

Slavin is not better than Dahlin, Hedman, Teows, Josi, etc. You're just very very bias. Per usual.

Josi isn't even good, Hedman just had the worst year of his career, Toews and Dahlin I understand the argument for, so let's start with Dahlin.

Defensively, Slavin mops Dahlin, that's not close. Dahlin is a far better puck mover, and more gifted offensively. Slavin's still an above average offensive presence, compared to Dahlin being below average defensively. It's why I would go Slavin over Dahlin right now. In 3-5 years time, as me again.

Devon Toews is the interesting one. Toews is one of the few players in the NHL that can challenge Slavin defensively, but as close as it is, it still probably favors Slavin. Slavin's transition and offensive numbers do not compare to Toews', however, Toews also trots onto the ice with the best defenseman analytics has tracked. Slavin has done this with a rotating cast of Hamilton, Burns, Faulk, and DeAngelo. Toews without Makar wasn't at THIS level, which is why I'd go Slavin.

But you know, talk out of your backside.

Talk about a down year.... Ironic when Slavins metrics took a nosedive from what he's normally used to.

FquS5_EWcAAOMsN.png:large

Slavin mops the floor defensively? The hell are you waffling about. Are you lost LMAO?

FzLA02qXwAAzg_H?format=webp&name=small

And the moment you said Josi wasn't good I kinda just skimmed thru your reply. I stopped taking you seriously.

Andy and Rono on twitter. They use data from NaturalStatTrick (which this clown above has used before) AllThreeZones and PuckIQ to rank percentiles for player values.

That's a three year for Josi, so you cannot complain about sample size. He's not good. He sucks defensively, and he's majorly overrated offensively. LMAO, any model that says he's good should not be taken seriously, and you just proved you're not worth taking seriously. Have fun on my ignored list kiddo
