Hawks might do the mangiapane deal but they definitely wouldn't touch markstrom unless he's treated as a pure cap dump. They don't need a goalie and markstrom isn't the type of goalie that gets a 2nd.

As a Flames fan I don't like the Samsonov or the Klingberg signings, rather just not sign either guy but especially not for those dollar figures. Also think you are giving up Mangi quite cheaply but understand he doesn't have a ton of value right now.
