I don't think Friedman actually linked Klingberg to Calgary.

All he's actually said as far as I know, is that Torontos looking for D and Calgarys open to selling.

Klingberg may very well be headed to Calgary but it better be as a negative asset, well compensated for.

Calgary's pretty much already screwed, whether we trade now or at the deadline, doesn't really matter, expectations aren't high.

Pressures on in Toronto however, and we know it, we don't need Bertuzzi or Klingberg, pay til it hurts or go away.

I didn't realize the title when I responded, I was caught up in trying to source the Klingberg rumor, definitely not deadline deals, those players would have moved somewhere else for more.

Samsonov is better the monty i will give you that, but no way is he Barron and a 3rd better, especially when he is struggling the way he is right now. That trade greatly favors TOR and serves very little purpose for mtl.
