That article helped me better understand the conditions.

Basically Calgary should be rooting for Florida, as long as Florida makes the playoffs and the protections for their 2024 pick dont kick in, we'll be fine?

It's still confusing to me, but doomsday where we end up giving MTL 2-10 seems unlikely.

Lose Greer on the Leaf trade. Subtract the 2 3rds and add forward prospect Abruzesse and I think it works

There is a less than zero percent chance the Caps trade Fehervary for a guy with one year left on his contract that might not even be an upgrade, let alone adding the picks in. They don't need to move Mantha anymore, either.

No it still doesn’t that’s 2 firsts for a couple of ufas 1 of which isn’t even worth a first even when taking on klingberg never gonna happen lily isn’t going anywhere and if he does leafs add to him and get Hanifin or Larson
