They NEED to fix that PP. It continuously is the reason this team loses.

As a GM, you can't really spark the team. Dubai's record shows he's not a good "trader". Draft record poor since he loves trading picks. He's good at finding bottom enders at a fair price but certainly not game changers. Pens have a lot of long term contracts, seems like they gotta live with these players. Better play and/or coaching is the spark.

I warned Pens fans about Dubas, one of the most overrated GMs in the league. Can't build defences and is very stubborn when it comes to upgrading the team (see Kerfoot and Holl). He thinks you can win cups with small, skilled, and soft players

Also, there is no way Dubas acquires Maroon. Way too big and physical for his team, find someone in the 5'9" - 5'10" range at around 160 to 180 pounds, that's his sweet spot

Maybe the Pens need to put Pitlick and Nylander in their bottom six, could probably use some younger legs in the lineup and Pitlick has produced in the past.

Stanley isn't gonna help you and not sure your 3rd D pair is your issue.

I can't see Guerin being willing to trade Maroon either, that's his type of player. Add in the fact LD is the position the Wild absolutely need the least and you've basically sent them a bunch of nothing for 2 useful players.

There's no incentive for Winnipeg to give Stanley away for nothing. Might as well just hang onto him.

Leafs fans have been trying to take victory laps already this season and act as though they know the game better than anyone on earth, yet they have no success to show for it since the 60s.

You clearly also haven't watched any cup teams the last couple seasons, teams are winning with speed and skill, not large bodies.

But hey, Brad is doing such an incredible job! You've all only booed the majority of his signings so far.

Move on from Shanahan, maybe the leafs will win something again.

I'm not worried under Brad, it will take some time to fix Dubas' mess. Can't wait for him to implement a defense group similar to the one he built in CGY

Good luck with Dubas though, his next trade will be for a 5'9" defensemen that is afraid of his own shadow

the last 3 defensemen Dubas brought to PIT are:

John Ludvig-- 6'1", 213 lb
Erik Karlsson-- 6'0", 190 lb
Ryan Graves-- 6'5", 220 lb

don't see a 5'9" defenseman coming but.......idk

Yeah he did a great job with the Klingberg, betruzzi, and reaves signings. Really fixing the issues.

Bertuzzi has been good for us despite his low point production

We aren't going to see Klingberg back ever again

Reavo not playing his game is all of Keefe's fault

Funny thing is that Ryan Graves and Erik Karlsson may not be 5'9" but they play like one

Yeah which is sad for him, lucky for the leafs. Reaves has negative value anyways. Especially at that ridiculous cap hit. Graves doesn’t play the style he should, and hes not playing well right now, as for karlsson he never played that way in his career and if i were him I wouldn’t start now considering is injury history.

Yeah, the reaves signing is working wonders.

Klingberg is having a stellar year, Bert and Kampf burning the roof down.

The leafs problem is that they have four franchise players that can't win anything. Doesn't seem like a Dubas problem...

glad you just ignored the Shany comment, pretty normal from Leafs nation.

The team being where it is isn't even remotely because of Dubas though. And I'm pretty sure the smallest acquisition he made is still bigger than what you mentioned haha - so this comment is just all around nonsense.
