Here take our 3rd goalie and a player we don’t want or have room for and give us some stability in net/perfect mentor for our young guys and a veteran C on a low AAV

MTL would be looking for a younger and higher upside asset for Monahan, who is their biggest trade chip this season.

The ask is likely around a 1st round pick value or equivalent prospect or young player. Olofsson and Comrie aren't what MTL is looking for.

I'd be perfectly willing to discuss Faulk and I'd be open to taking Jokiharju back as part of the package. The other two pieces would presumably hold little to no interest.

monahan is one of the top centers available, if healthy he will command 1st +

MTL counters with Monahan and a 2nd(Or Tuch) for Krebs
We could get pieces outta Monahan at the TDL and offer what we get for Monahan alongside that 2nd
But we're not looking to break the bank on Krebs but still provide value
Tuch's the top line LW on the #2 NCAA team off a Frozen Four final last year . He's the Assistant Captain and set to graduate by 22 years old.

Ostlund is the best part of that package

I dont think the canes have any interest in Grigs, but someone, somewhere probably does. Montreal would have zero interest in Comrie.

Honestly the best idea for this team involves firing their front office and most of the coaching staff - from a cannon.

The St. Louis one is the only one that's not a non-starter for the other team, but even that one feels off for St. Louis.

That offer has ZERO value for MTL. Don't need a goalie or UFA. You litteraly couln't have chosen more valueless assets.

Heh. Yeah... and he's a 160 lb. center who'll probably get moved to the wing. No thanks. They have loads of more suitable prospects and young players to choose from. Not interested in him myself.
