I know he and his agent want to make it work and all that but man idk if Kuzmenko is made for Vancouver.

It just feels like he needs to be moved for the sake of both sides. Trade him for an upgrade is what I say

Does he even have value? Feel like it's an offseason move where he heads to the Sharks or Blackhawks for FC.

I think u could make a hockey trade with him or get at least some value

As to me him going to a team that will give him a bit more freedom and not be so critical will allow him to go back to what he was last year. Yes we also got to factor in his S% was crazy but to me he can still be a 20 goal 50-60 point guy in the right environment

Yeah for sure, just not sure how many teams are interested in that cap hit for a player who can't even stay in the line up (doesn't really matter if it's performance related or not). Vancouver would be better off to get rid of the salary and reinvest in FA anyways.

I could see a rebuilding team have interest. Or heck can be part of a PKG to get someone better from a non-contender or just to make the money work

Kind of like what NYI did with Beau when they wanted to add Horvat.

Can see ANA as an interesting destination

Tweet from Frank Seravalli:

"Subject to change, but my understanding of the current situation for the 4 #NHL players who have taken leave of absence:

- Will continue to be paid.
- Continue to count against the salary cap.
- Do not count against the roster limit (e.g. non-roster status)."

(NJ Devils are well over cap...and just legally claimed someone off waivers...so, feel like something is missing here)

I know the stats be meh with him but for teams needing a bit of help on defense Bonino might not be a bad option

He leads the NHL amongst forward blocked shots with 78

Tied for 2nd = 55 blocks

Change of scenery might do him some good

But he also leads team in most on-ice shot attempts against/60...at 73.5 (3rd worst in NHL)

He is blocking more shots because when he is on the ice, the team is getting more shot attempts.

In general Bonino has always been the shot block king amongst forwards in the NHL. Heck he helped make one of the best third lines in the NHL.

Could honestly just be Rangers werent a fit which is fair as for many guys not every team is for them

If a team like VGK claimed him got a feeling he would thrive in his final year

Durp. So used to Arizona being lower I wasn't even thinking. (In fairness I just woke up Sticking Out Tongue)

I would have put in a claim. I hear he's got a case of Armiaitis, but even he's serviceable.
Ruzicka is young enough for hope, just keep his contract reasonable.
Interesting we passed while needing a center.

According to Weekes, NJ is close to acquiring a defender or goaltender. Bait tweet, but it's something.

I guess where there's smoke... not every deal that's close to being finalized is completed. I'd have to imagine he's not making **** up.

A hearty congrats and attaboy should go out to Oliver Kylington, who will make his NHL return tonight after damn near two full years away.

That was a disgusting elbow from Gallagher.

Can this man just retire already?

That's quite the overstatement, dirty hit for sure, but Perron's was 10x worse (and that was this season)

He wouldn't be in the NHL if he wasn't signed until the end of eternity. Completely ruined his reputation unfortunately.

Perrons hit was dirty and intentional, but it was a cross check to the back of the head with a helmet on while both of them were at a stand still .

Doing what Gallagher just did could be career ending. Intentionally sticking out his elbow while a player is skating up the ice at close to full speed

Gallagher’s is clearly worse, imo

I think Gallagher's comments might come back to bite him

Now he got 5mins and a game but I feel its probs gonna be a 1-2 game suspension as he isnt a repeat offender

Anymore would be a surprise but then again DOPS has surprised us before like Spezza. But then again that got appealed and Bettman shortened it
