If rental price for a center is somewhere between O'Reilly and Horvat I don't think this is too crazy.

A 1st for each year of the contract, plus the extra 1st instead of a prospect.

I'm not saying I'd do it, and OP did say it was an overpay, but at least it's real value for Ducks fans.

Calgary accepts the Toronto trade and declines all the others. The Dallas one is close though.

The original poster must have Zegras confused with McDavid. No way Zegras fetches four 1st round picks.

Not worth it to the Leafs, might get close to that from someone with more assets to spend.

That does seem a bit steep though. A first is going to be hard to get.

I'm hoping for more Sharangovich trades, someone with high upside who's buried in their org.

That offer for Noah Hanifin is beat by a country mile. And Hanifin won't sign long term with Dallas. So that trade isn't happening.
