my guy...you're asking for a 2023 first round pick, a 2024 first round pick, and the 4th overall in 2019 for 20-something games of Lindholm. Get serious

Hawks arent paying a 3rd for Dube. Not until anything and everything around his leave of absence is cleared up

Mangiapane is not available.
Calgary is not trading him, and they don’t need a Kuzmenko.
No thanks.

Agreed. They would need to really like Holmberg.

1. NJD overpay. Don't think they do that

2. Try Byram straight up. Huge overpay for Colorado

3. Not sure what's in this for Van, especially with big extention coming for Peterson

4. Flames say no.

5. Dube not getting moved while on leave and with the WJ scandal going on.

Oh but its at half retained

But in all seriousness it would probably have to be for a guy of the ilk of EEK to pry Byram out of Colorado

Hawks wouldn't spend a 3rd on Dube if he hadn't stepped away from hockey.

Byram straight up is a big overpay for a Lindy rental

You obviously haven’t been following the news today if you think Dube is tradeable.

Col is deep at D and will be for the foreseeable future. If filling your #2C slot wins another cup. It will be worth it, You cantbell me Sakic isnt aware they have a shot at hanging a banner this year and will gove up.futures to do it. + he's already shown to be an injury risk player in his short career.

Find your next star dman elsewhere, you aint getting Byram for a rental. Moving Byram open up 3.8m in cap, they still have to replace a top 4 dman that pk's and pp and extend Lindy who is allegedly asking for 9m. That probably costs another one of the Avs dmen being moved, so make that 2 top 4 dmen. Flames have tried to get more production out of him this year and it hasn't worked. You'd be looking at a pure futures package from the Avs.
Edit: While it may become beneficial short term with a cup win, the Avs are already set up for a few cup runs, it's not a wise move long term. Also Byram was our top dman in the SCF

I can tell you Sakic isn't GM of the Avs anymore, hasn't been for almost two years. Also, adding Lindholm is far from a guarantee of winning the Cup; trading Byram for a rental of Lindy is terrible asset management.
