Hell yes to the Anaheim trade, hell no to the CBJ trade. Tampa fans will hate you but that's a significant offer

Yeah, that's going to be a no, and it's not remotely close.

We just traded with Buffalo for a RHD and we didn't even take Joker then.

we just signed Radko and we are absolutely loving him

no way in H E double hockey stills are we trading him away, especially for a RHD who has half the toughness as Radko's right pinky toe

Tampa probably has to accept that. Just too much value, especially for someone who is always hurt

Gudas says No.

Tampa would've to possibly consider the Cernak trade.

Tampa likely declines. Regardless.of the value here, losing their best RD for a LD(where they do not have a need at present) doesn't make sense for Tampa now. If anything, Tampa needs to consider adding at RD in case of injury and for extra depth come playoffs.

Yeah that’s a big no from Anaheim dog. Even if you took out Gudas we’d say no. Jokiharju blows lol

Don't love it, don't hate it, definitely something to consider. Really need a right defenseman more than a left one though, and Cooper hates playing d-men on their off-hand side

This is pretty good, unfortunately don't think they ever happen. Should have went after Gudas in the offseason.

The Sabres seem fine playing guys on their off hand, which is good when your 4 best defensemen are all left handed. I was going to mention that our coach absolutely does not deserve the benefit of the doubt, granatos teams have been awful defensively, but that's not the whole story. Our defensemen aren't great defensively, and the centers aren't great with defensive support. Best I can say is the Sabres have two outstanding skaters- dahlin and Ryan johnson, which I've always heard is the key to playing on your off hand (the angles are what gets you in trouble, getting to the puck first is imperative). I think I would side more with Cooper, resume' and all that. Its tough when you need that right handed hammer for your top 4, those guys are never just available, it's gonna cost an arm and a leg. Which makes me think- why have our last 5 first round picks been undersized forwards (nobody values these guys unless they are damned near ppg), probably should really consider drafting right shot d, and mix in a center or two.

Decent draft to get a Dman, unfortunately a lot of good LD. Dickinson would be hard to pass up, don't care he's a LD. He is big and can skate. Jiricek little brother, he is so young though. But playing against Men. Yakemchuk is a sneaky one, but probably the 10-13 range.

If there's a left d that's too good to pass up, I'm fine with moving one of our other left d for help on the right side. It's time though, we need to address the right d one way or the other, no more half measures.

CBJ should objectively take that on value, but we're probably not moving our hometown kid assistant captain this year. Probably a TDL rental next season. Buffalo probably declines based on value, but I like the idea.

I didn't hate adams not wanting to pay a premium for a right d, it was worth a shot to say "I've got 3 stud left shot d, they can carry their partners- whoever they are". But it hasn't worked at all. I'm sorry I keep banging the physical/gritty drum, I swear I'm not don cherry. It's time to clear the crease, it's time to lean on the other team. I know it wasn't lucic/ryan Miller, but a few weeks ago Erik Johnson got scummed directly in front of mittelstadt and power, there was no response. Not everybody has to be a hammer, but they all can't be nails either.
