depends what you want. personally i think he's a guy that's always going to grab some points, but he isn't going to help you win hockey games. He's the kind of dman that the dopey fans in boston get all sorts of excited about, and then the bruins jettison the player if given an opportunity. In Boston, he's a nothing. maybe worse than that. I don't think he gets ice time over lindholm, Grzelcyk, or even Forbort. Boston management has shown time and time again that they do not value what be brings as a hockey player. I don't value it either, hence why i think he's trash.

Grzelcyk is having a bad season.

For the past five years hes been one of the better d men in the league when it comes to transition play, and preventing plays at his own blue line. I'm not a big fancy stat guy, but he had some eye popping numbers. There's a reason he's played alongside Charlie McAvoy on the bruins top pair much of that time....and the bruins actually have a good blue line.
