At best the Caps might get a 1st for Dowd+3rd, similar to the Goodrow deal, if a team is really interested or there's a bidding war. Can't see Dowd getting a 1st straight across without an add from Wash or conditions on the pick.

A guy who makes 1.3 million for this year and next, plays 15+ minutes a game, is great on faceoffs, provides offense, PKs, and is a fantastic shut down center gets at least a first. Cope.
