That is an awful trade. Jenner is a good target but not at that price

CBj fans talk about Jenner like he’s basically untouchable
He might be a good fit for us, but it seems unlikely CBj moves him

And i agree, this proposed trade is a MASSIVE OVERPAY

take out krebs and the 1st considering buffalo will be lottery.
Mittelstadt has really improved but I feel they'll be willing to depart with some offense for "leadership and grit" GMs love

You know how insane of an offer you'd have to make for CBJ to just instantly say yes on Jenner and not even think about it? Well....you definitely crossed that line.

He is basically untouchable, it is unlikely we move him, but we can all agree this is a massive overpay.

That is essentially the eichel trade but with better drafts picks.

Brutal

This could be a yes from Columbus. Yes, it is a massive overpay if you look at value in a vacuum, but Jenner has an inflated value to a contender because of what he brings in tandem with his extremely team friendly deal. This is about what it would take for any team to realistically acquire him.

Then he'll never be traded. This is insane

Nah the jackets would take this in a heartbeat. Mitts has good value and that pick will end up top 5-10. This is a massive overpay for Jenner. Jenner for mitts is probably a fair trade and I would do it if the jackets could flip mitts to a third team for a haul

Sabres wouldn’t do a 1 for 1 with Mitts. Mitts is younger, more productive and an RFA.
