Andrew Peters is an idiot

Haha do you think there is any merit to any of these. also realized that by trying to reflect this years deadline the cap retention affected next years cap which isnt true

I would give up a 2nd round pick to move Peters and Rivet to the west coast.

Why on earth are they re-signing Gus, Okposo and EJ? Especially for that amount.

*Plz excuse me while find an 'X' on the wall and start beating my head*

Yes. Owen Power and Trent Frederic are the same thing.

Astute point

That wouldn't get Kadri or Weegar far less both.

Of course you’d focus on the wrong thing. 🙄

The point was terrible lopsided offers.

2 guys that I would not pay much more than a 5th for for a guy with term I would not take a late 1st for.

Hate to make you cry, but Boston would not trade Frederic for Mitts straight up. No that does not mean he is better. But he is cheaper next year, signed, and play completely different roles. Frederic plays a role they actually need.

Hard to believe that someone who purportedly watches as much hockey as he does could have learned so little that he would suggest some of these proposals.

sheesh pal, i saw this trade earlier and thought thankfully it was so bad we probably wouldn't see it again.

the other poster never came close to saying that frederic was equal to power or, "mitts." he was pointing out it was a truly horrific and lopsided trade. There really isn't much of a difference between the two trade concepts. they're both a 0/10. we're just splitting hairs by comparing them.

I’ll give it to you straight

Boston: they laugh and hang up

Colorado: accepts, you can probably get more from another team, maybe up to a 4th

Calgary: they laugh and get away with robbery, Kadri is not only a net negative with that contract, it’s one of the worst in the league

Anaheim: Why, UPL has been better than Gibson and you can get him for a cheaper cap hit, is also far younger

Philly: no, you’d have to pay to get rid of Clifton at this point, he’s terrible

Vancouver: why, Greenway has been more than serviceable on that fourth line

a week ago every Sabres fans on this site knew these guys were warm bodies, and barely warm at that. Now they think Boston would be thrilled to trade a youngish middle 6 forward who has made big strides every season for what they know is a pile of trash

Boston has reportedly been interested in both "warm bodies" (who are well respected in league circles and have worn letters for years) and the Sabres agm has been at multiple Bruins games in a row

Not out of left field. Maybe you don't like the trade, but it's gonna be funny when you guys are posting AGMs resigning one of those guys are you trade for them in real life

Your answer only makes sense if you did not read the second part of the comment that starts with "for". Why do you all think you can get Frederic for these guys?

Yeah, i still think they're no good. You still haven't addressed how lopsided the return is

Not gonna lie I thought you were the original poster for a bit. I still think they're warm bodies in any case though, not changing my mind there.
