Yes.... Why not keep the leader of your core who hasn't proven an ability to perform or live up to expectations?

I'd probably do a deal centred around Quinn for Tkachuk. Assuming the additional pieces aren't guys better than him.

Who said he hasn’t lived up to expectations? Is it his fault goalies had a .885 save percentage?

If the starting piece is Quinn then that means the other pieces aren’t better smile

Kind of sad - I feel for SENs fans (not really 😏) - to have to year after year pivot from preseason bravado “ our top 6 is better than Leafs” or “ SENs will be a force in the playoffs” to end of season bartering over who you trade @ TDL and what the return will be.

Sebastian Aho's goalies have .891 save percentage and they are second in the Metro... good teams find a way around obstacles. Tkachuk hasn't made a single playoff in his history... it isn't about his individual performance but more about his in ability to get his team over the hump

We can agree that some of these deals are unrealistic and also not make the logical leap that because the Sens suck, it must be Brady's fault...

Can’t lie tho a team with Tkachuk, Carlsson, Gauthier, Terry and Celebrini/Lindstrom would be insanity

I have a distinct feeling that Anaheim's going Leshunov at the draft. I think we're going to end up 4th or 5th on the pick.

You're not wrong though.

only Raanta(24 games) and anderson (6 games) has a SV% bellow .900 so your lying right there, Pyotr is at .910 (30 games) and spencer at .920 (3 games)

I mean fair... The Hurricanes also give up 25 shots a game instead of like the 30 the Sens do

Good teams like Carolina , Boston and Vegas are really good at keeping shots to the outside and clearing the front of the net and not allowing second chances. I’ve been examining this because I want the Sens to play like this . So that favours higher save percentages

The system also works great because of the personnel involved... it's hard to run that kind of system without the Jordan Staal and Jaccob Slavin types
