Not even close. Bedard being as young and as good as he is on an ELC makes him one of the most valuable players in the league. Montreal doesn’t have what it takes to trade for him and still have enough left over to field a competitive roster.

Everyone’s talking about talent and everything but that doesn’t even matter. Bedard is a money making machine and any GM would instantly be fired if they traded a franchise player with the level of star power he has. Could be every pick and prospect MTL has but still don’t think they say yes
