Heh. No thanks to paying a 2nd for one year of an extremely limited Dman that is about to turn 27. And the Boldy trade is even more fanciful.

Would you take that Boldy offer for Caufield? If not why would Minnesota take that? Boldy is better offensively, significantly better defensively, and cheaper than Caufield

How about Cole Caufield for a 2025 top-12 protected 1st, Jake Middleton and Adam Beckman? Didn't think so.

I'm sure Minnesota wouldn't trade away Boldy for Slafkovsky....
    That Boldy trade is ridiculous

Okay, I can see the reasoning behind the Matheson trade: Jake Middlton's contract is up after next season, so it might be a good idea to have Matheson so that Carson Lambos, Ryan O'Rourke and Jack Peart get an additional year of development time, but you picked the wrong guy going the other way. (In fact, it's hard to imagine anyone on the Wild roster that they'd like to send you that would make sense for both teams.) Back to the drawing board!

Nothing new in that NJ trade, it's been a hard no for the last 3 years and you are still very short of value
