The only source for those "rumors" is a completely noncredible fake site.

laugh Who would even want a guy who's missed close to 145 games in the past 5 seasons? Patrik Laine doesn't have that much value. He can't even stay healthy for 40% of the season Plus has issues that's why he's still on the NHLPAP for some 4 months.

This feels like a rumor in the same sense that Jenner to TML or KJ to MTL is a rumor.

Just get enough ACGMs going.

Anaheim would have no interest in Poulin or Joseph, particularly the latter inasmuch as we have 5 NHL-qualified left-handed defensemen on the roster for next season already.

You can't construct intelligent trade proposals by starting with what assets you think are easily expendable. The first step in any such construction is deciding what asset(s) you would like from a team, and the second step is to imagine what that team needs and would want in exchange for said asset(s). For Anaheim, that's a quality RW or RD as a beginning.

Trades have to work for both teams. Nothing about that trade works for Anaheim.

Jackets aren’t taking this package either unless the pick is unprotected. They would only make this move if they need the cap space for another first line forward acquisition. Taking on rackell alone isnt worth a first

I can't see the penguins moving 1st round picks at this point.
2026 1st round pick (PIT) is certainly off the table.

You're delusional. He's fallen out of favor in OTT - sentenced to 3rd pairing and negative 30. What would be fair comp ? 3 firsts ? Next one, I'll let him go for a 4th

That's exactly how intelligent trades are constructed, with expendable assets. If you're a New Ducks fan, they would value Center Depth - considering Zegras likely gets traded this offseason. As for LD, Joseph would be an upgrade to your left side.

Zegras will be gone this offseason - you'll like center depth.

What does this have to do about Zegras or Anaheims center depth? You're trading for Gibson.

As to Zegras, he'll be on the opening night roster for the Ducks, and we have other, better centers already on the roster than Poulin, and arguably better ones in our system too.

Zegras isn't getting traded this off-season, he isn't a center, and Poulin isn't displacing any of Gauthier, Lundestrom, Groulx or Gaucher on the depth chart.

You think that Joseph would be an upgrade on which of Pavel Mintyukov, Olen Zellweger or Jackson LaCombe?

We wouldn't pick Joseph up off waivers.

Welcome to CapFriendly, by the way.
